Our preschool program runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Kindergarten Readiness is offered from 2:00 to 3:30 PM.

Our school-year program runs from September through June. Foxville Kids follows the Issaquah School District calendar for major breaks and observed holidays, including:

The schedule remains flexible enough to give children more time when a project, conversation, or investigation inspires deeper engagement.

No. Foxville Kids does not have a scheduled nap period. Our day remains active, with calmer moments such as stories, quiet play, and focused activities naturally woven into the daily rhythm.

Yes. A morning snack and lunch are included in preschool tuition.

Snack typically includes steamed vegetables—such as zucchini, carrots, baby corn, or broccoli—along with fresh fruit such as apples.

Lunch usually includes a warm soup prepared with meat broth, vegetables, and combinations of meat, rice, or pasta. Ingredients vary while keeping meals familiar, nourishing, and appropriate for young children.

Families should share any allergies or dietary restrictions before enrollment so we can discuss appropriate accommodations.

Children typically spend between one and two and a half hours outside each day, depending on the weather and the season.

During warmer months, we move many STEAM projects, sensory experiences, and learning sessions outdoors. Winter outdoor time may be shorter, with a greater focus on active recess and movement.

Families should send children in comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing that can handle active and sometimes messy exploration.

Our curriculum combines theme-driven learning with hands-on projects, sensory exploration, open-ended play, art, science, early literacy, mathematics, and outdoor experiences.

Each theme creates a meaningful context for learning. Children build vocabulary, strengthen academic foundations, investigate new ideas, and express their understanding through play, conversation, construction, experiments, and creative work.

Our small-group setting allows us to respond to children’s interests, provide individual support, and create learning experiences that feel engaging and personal.

Our main preschool program is a Russian-language immersion environment. Kindergarten Readiness is taught entirely in English.

No prior knowledge of Russian is required.

Children develop understanding naturally through daily routines, visual cues, hands-on activities, repetition, and interaction with the group. Our small setting allows us to provide individual guidance while each child becomes comfortable with the language and classroom environment.

If a child speaks neither Russian nor English, we use pictures, gestures, visual supports, and modern translation tools when helpful. Our priority is to find a comfortable way to communicate so the child feels understood, secure, and included.

Themes give children time to explore one area of interest through many forms of learning.

A topic may begin broadly and then develop into more detailed, connected investigations. For example, children might begin with pond life, continue with frogs, and then expand their learning to amphibians.

Throughout the experience, children encounter related vocabulary, books, science, mathematics, sensory materials, art, pretend play, and hands-on projects. Revisiting ideas in different ways helps children make connections and develop a deeper understanding.

Kindergarten Readiness is our afternoon English-language program, offered from 2:00 to 3:30 PM.

Children continue learning with the same familiar teachers and classmates, while the classroom language switches entirely to English. This allows them to practice listening, following directions, understanding questions, expressing their needs, and responding with confidence in a secure environment.

Early literacy, writing, phonics, and mathematics are introduced in English so the language and routines of kindergarten feel familiar from the start.

The Personalized Learning Path is a one-to-one pull-out program available to enrolled preschool children during the regular preschool day.

Sessions extend learning beyond the group curriculum and are shaped around each child’s current skills, interests, and readiness. Areas may include early reading in Russian or English, advanced mathematics, logic, visual-spatial thinking, pre-coding, or preparation for i-Ready and CogAT assessments.

Families may choose one or two 30-minute sessions per week.

Our preschool program is designed for children ages 3–5. Kindergarten Readiness is available for children ages 4–5.

The mixed-age preschool setting allows younger children to learn alongside more experienced classmates while older children develop confidence, independence, and leadership.

School-year preschool tuition is $1,500 per month. Kindergarten Readiness is an additional $500 per month.

Healthy snacks and lunch are included. Personalized Learning Paths, Enrichment Classes, and Summer Camps are priced separately.

Our school-year preschool program is designed for full-time enrollment, Monday through Friday.

Occasional part-time availability may be considered depending on the current group and schedule. Families interested in a part-time placement are welcome to contact us about current availability.

Enrollment begins with a tour, giving your family an opportunity to experience our environment and ask questions.

The first month is a trial period with no long-term commitment. If your family chooses to withdraw during the trial month, we refund the unused portion of the month’s tuition.

Families who continue after the trial sign an enrollment contract for the remainder of the school year and become part of the Foxville Kids community.

No. Children may enroll at any stage of the potty-training process.

We provide positive, pressure-free support and work closely with families to create consistency between home and preschool. Please send enough diapers, pull-ups, wipes, and changes of clothing for your child’s day.

When our school-year program ends in June, Foxville Kids transitions to themed Summer Camps with enrollment available by the week.

Summer Camps continue our hands-on approach through engaging investigations, creative projects, sensory exploration, and outdoor play—within a more flexible summer format.

Enrolled Foxville Kids families receive preferred early enrollment.

Yes. Our Enrichment Classes bring the Foxville Kids approach to children beyond our regular preschool program.

These 90-minute evening and weekend classes offer hands-on learning, sensory exploration, creative projects, and engaging investigations in small groups organized for ages 3–5 and 5–7.
